Milton 66 Beer Garden

Located in historic Milton, NC this former gas station is a now one-of-a-kind roadside market that celebrates North Carolina’s local flavor while serving as a community hub of creativity and connection.

Established in 2022, the Milton 66 is a passion project for four partners who love creative community spaces. The partners envisioned the space to be a beer garden that brings together great local craft beer and seasonal plants. The business combines the expertise of each of the four partners with beer, plants, and creativity. Milton 66 gets its name from its building. Located in Milton’s old Phillips 66 service station (which was locally known as Milton 66), the old service station’s wide lot is the perfect location to provide outdoor seating while connecting Milton’s Commercial Row with it’s other historic attractions.

Angry Troll Brewing

Angry Troll Brewing is Elkin, NC’s homegrown local Restaurant, brewery, and Taproom located within a renovated historic Main Street warehouse.

Angry Troll Brewing was founded from the inspiration of Elkin’s historic Hugh Chatham Memorial bridge, built in 1931, that connected the towns of Elkin and Jonesville and was demolished in 2010. This brewery is located right beside where the beloved bridge had passed. And thus, the Angry Troll name began by recalling the story of the troll under the bridge as a way to remember that lost iconic Elkin landmark. The bridge passed directly over the front door into our taproom.

Burlington Beer Works

Did you know that North Carolina’s first cooperative brewery was located in downtown Burlington? This brewery and restaurant was started with a passion for securing a shared network of local and regional partnerships made up of farmers, producers, and service professionals.

The goal was to brew great beer, but more importantly, empower the community to collaborate. By sourcing at least half of their products within Alamance (their home county) and neighboring communities, they guarantee patrons a level of transparent quality and freshness. Their partnerships include:  Wilkeshire Beef, T5, Redbud, Smith, Dinnerbell, Your Local Greens, Hillsborough Cheese, Firsthand Foods, Brasstown Beef, Joyce, Haw River Mushrooms and San Giuseppe Salami Co. These farmers provide a local selection of fresh ingredients throughout the seasons; this helps create a recognizable identity for our area by way of the foods being cultivated and produced within it. Come enjoy a pint and taste all the goodness that Alamance County offers!
