Mary E D Ryan has been a natural artist since she was old enough to pick up a paint brush. She began art lessons at four years old and won her first competition by age five. She have acquired her art skills through many art teachers, other artists, and through her own exploration and hands on experience in the arts running her art gallery.

Mary is largely a self taught artist.  In past years she has taught a variety of art classes in her studio and hosted numerous community arts events.  She has enjoyed teaching in various mediums.  As a young artist, she loved painting murals, and over time that became a primary art form for Mary, and the one she loves the most. Art and design are second nature to her and have always been a part of her life. Mary has received multiple grants and awards and worked solo, on artist teams, and worked as the lead artist on art programming to bring the arts to the public.
