Come taste the distinct flavors of the foothills and experience the sights, sounds and scenery great grandfather Sanders did over 170 years ago. The handcrafted post and beam winery is nestled deep within 150 acres of the most serene and secluded natural spaces within the Yadkin River Valley. Relax in the gazebo by the lake, stroll the nature trails, and sip wine paired with items from the Sanders Kitchen featuring local ingredients (snack menu available and picnics are welcome).
Grape varieties grown in the Sanders Vineyard include Viognier, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Muscat Canelli, Chambourcin, and two varieties of muscadine grapes – Carlos and Noble. All of the wines are made from the grapes grown in the vineyard, and are crafted by the Sanders’ winemaker in our on-site winery.
