Alamance Arts

Through adaptive restoration, Alamance Arts Council has turned the 1871 Queen Anne style mansion into an art gallery and a home office for Alamance Arts. The Sister Galleries features changing exhibits of artists of local, regional and national acclaim and includes Picasso’s Gift Shop showcasing gifts and crafts by North Carolina Artisans. The house offers formal reception rooms and a garden, as well as meeting space available for rental to private individuals, civic, and corporate functions.

Alamance Arts is committed to shaping the cultural identity of Alamance County by making art a tangible presence in the lives of Alamance County citizens. They strive to enhance the quality of life by engaging people in a diverse array of art through the delivery of programming and education and through the provision of facilities, advocacy, promotion and funding.
